Paris Salon exhibit at The Craig Gallery

February 4th-27th

Paris Salon is an exciting mid-winter event fashioned after the original art exhibits of the Academie des Beaux-Arts in Paris, France, made famous between 1748 and 1890. The success of these highly-popular exhibits was due in part to their ability to showcase as much work as possible, encouraging the public to experience and to respond to the total immersion in art.

There are over 200 works of art by 50 emerging and established artists.

All work that is sold is taken down the same day and replaced with another piece by the same artist. The idea is to encourage visitors to first of all, “buy now”as the piece may disappear, and secondly, to revisit the exhibit as new work will be appearing throughout the month. The bonus to the artist of course is the opportunity to present even more work over the course of the exhibit.

Clockwise from left to right, 20" oil paintings by Daina, $600 each: A Thing Called Love, Seaside Rendez-Vous, Through the Viewfinder (SOLD), Ebb & Flow
