Life in the Studio, Part 2

10"x48" oil on 1-1/2" gallery wrap canvas, 2012. Artwork © Daina Deblette Scarola.
Today I finished painting this panorama scene of a little known surf spot in Nova Scotia. It's a place you probably don't want to paddle out to if ever you do find out where it is. Especially if you get there by car. Just saying.

That being said, my lovely neglected board hangs patiently under the eve of our woodshed. Until the water warms up just a bit more, I'll keep painting waves to my heart's content!

Here's my newest studio purchase, a 5'x8' trailer, the perfect size to hold my display and all my paintings while I make the 1300 km trek to Toronto for the One of a Kind Show in a few weeks. Actually 18 days and counting!

Our new trailer! Ready to be filled with my artwork and display walls.
