MAPLES Gallery ~ Downtown Halifax

I'm thrilled that Bedford's original Maples Gallery has re-opened with a fresh new look and same great vibe in downtown Halifax.

Arline Vincent is the vibrant owner and curator of Maples Gallery, the home of Canadian made fine arts and crafts. When you come visit her new space and meet Arline, you'll see why I'm so happy she asked me to join her and the small group of talented artists she represents. She radiates warmth and joy, "Maples has always given me Strength, Passion, and Independence... the artists I represent have these same qualities. Artists show this in their work and I get to tell their stories. That's the Maples Experience. I feel very blessed to be doing what I love to do!"

Among the artists Arline has represented since Maples' inception in 2008 are myself- oil, Donna Mancini- mixed media, Gail Sutherland- watercolour, Holly Carr- silk painting, James Darley- sculpture in wood and stone, Sanna Rahola- fibre artist, Susan Geddes- acrylic. You will also find beautiful gifts for any occasion, including glass by Freedom Design, pottery, jewellery by Loranne Kettlewell, Chester Wind Chimes, Pearl & Daisy Natural Soap, and more. Please visit our new Maples Gallery Facebook page to view photos of the artisans work.

There will be a celebratory grand re-opening in November. If you would like to be added to Maples' news list, please contact Arline Vincent at maples@easlink.ca or better yet, visit her in person at Maples Gallery's new location in Bishop's landing.
