This Saturday, April 12th, will be bitter-sweet for me. It is the last day I will have my Ocean Art Studio booth at the Halifax Seaport Farmers Market for at least 13 months. I've been attending the market as a regular weekend vendor for over 4 years! It's been an amazing experience I will be forever grateful for. I've met hundreds of wonderful people there who have encouraged me in my career and who have supported me by buying my art for their homes, and by giving my art to friends and family as special gifts. What a stepping stone! Now I'm getting ready for the next chapter beyond home, The Painted Road Project, beginning May 15th.
This Saturday I'll have all the paintings with me that are shown in this photo. If you come for one and don't see it, ask me. I won't have enough space to hang everything. The market is undergoing a transformation and more renovations so they've removed the partition wall that has served as my "gallery" wall, but I do have a small grid-wall that will do. I'll also have all the prints and cards shown in my Etsy Shop in limited quantities. If there are any you plan on picking up, please let me know so I can tuck them aside for you: https://www.etsy.com/ca/
It's looking like it will be a great day!! I hope to see you there! We're open from 7am-3pm.
Your art is gorgeous! I can't wait to click the link to your next project because it sounds SO exciting! Good luck at the market this weekend. I hope it is bustling with buyers. I wish you well.
