2014 Wall Calendars are now available as a Perk, featuring 12 of my favourite original paintings from 2013.

On May 1st, 2014, I will embark on the creative adventure of a lifetime, together with my husband. We will be travelling by road in a truck camper across Canada, down the West coast to Panama and back, while I record my experiences through my mobile Ocean Art Studio. The intention is to grow and expand my current artistic practice by connecting inward with nature, and outward with a broader audience. Throughout this year I will create a new body of work in plein-air settings, with a focus on coastal environments, to be shared online as it develops, and later to be displayed in a gallery setting upon returning to Nova Scotia.

I'll be painting in oils and watercolours along the way, photographing, filming, and blogging about our adventures. We'll be connecting with different people and cultures, communities and artists, and hopefully even you! 

If this isn't enough to look forward to , we will be reducing our environmental footprint by over 75%!

I've put together a short film highlighting our past adventures from 2009-2013 as an exciting preview of what's to come during The Painted Road Project.
