Setting Emeralds

Happy Spring! This time of year I'm so inspired to take in the new fresh life that surrounds me~ the sweet morning bird songs, the scent of new plant growth awakening after a sleepy winter, the promise of spring flowers, planning my veggie garden, looking forward to my annual birthday weekend camping trip in May...

So naturally my thoughts are filled with shades of green and my newest painting that I finished at the Halifax Seaport Market today is suitably named "Setting Emeralds".
